How AssetIQ Advisors collects, uses, and protects your information

This Privacy Policy describes how Nelson Rosa, doing business as AssetIQ Advisors ('AssetIQ,' 'we,' 'us,' or 'our'), collects, uses, and handles information when you use our website, the STR CFO Agent web application, or engage us for accounting and CFO advisory services.

By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

We are not a law firm and this policy does not constitute legal advice. If you have specific legal questions about data privacy, please consult a qualified attorney.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you interact with AssetIQ Advisors, you may provide us with:

• Your name and email address — collected when you submit your email through the STR CFO Agent application or book a Portfolio Assessment call
• Your responses to qualifying questions — such as the number of short-term rental properties you operate
• Your Airbnb or VRBO payout CSV file — uploaded voluntarily to the STR CFO Agent application for analysis
• Scheduling information — collected by Once Hub when you book a call, including your name, email, and responses to pre-call questions
• Bank statements and financial documents — provided by clients via Google Drive as part of an active engagement with AssetIQ Advisors
• Communications — including emails, Slack messages sent through DirectLine, and any other correspondence with Nelson Rosa, CPA

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

To measure the performance of our advertising, our marketing website uses the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. When you visit our landing pages, submit your email, or reach our scheduling page, the Meta Pixel may collect your IP address, browser and device information, and the actions you take on the site, and share that information with Meta so we can understand which ads lead to sign-ups and calls.

The Meta Pixel does not receive the contents of any financial documents, CSV files, or reports. We do not use Google Analytics or other third-party analytics platforms. You can limit ad-related tracking through your Meta account settings and through your browser or device privacy controls.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To deliver the STR CFO Agent report — your CSV data is processed in your browser and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. The analysis is generated client-side and is not retained by AssetIQ after your session ends.
• To add you to our email marketing list — your email address is passed to ActiveCampaign, our email marketing platform, where you will receive our nurture email sequence and periodic communications from AssetIQ Advisors. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
• To deliver your CFO Report via email — your email address and generated report are passed to Resend, our transactional email provider, to deliver your PDF report to your inbox.
• To schedule and conduct Portfolio Assessment calls — your scheduling information is managed by Once Hub and used solely for the purpose of coordinating your call with Nelson Rosa, CPA.
• To provide accounting and CFO advisory services — for active clients, financial documents you share via Google Drive are used solely to perform the services described in your engagement agreement. We do not store, retain, or share this data beyond what is necessary to perform those services.
• To communicate with you — including responding to your DirectLine Slack messages, emails, and other inquiries.
• To improve our services — we may use aggregate, non-identifiable information to understand how our tools and content are used.

3. Third-Party Services We Use

AssetIQ Advisors uses the following third-party services to operate our business. Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data:

• ActiveCampaign — email marketing and CRM platform. Stores your name, email address, and tags applied based on your interactions. Privacy policy: activecampaign.com/privacy-policy
• Resend — transactional email delivery. Used to send your CFO Report PDF to your inbox. Privacy policy: resend.com/legal/privacy-policy
• Vercel — hosting platform for the STR CFO Agent application. Privacy policy: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
• Once Hub — scheduling platform for Portfolio Assessment calls. Privacy policy: oncehub.com/privacy-policy
• Google Drive — used by active clients to share bank statements and financial documents with AssetIQ Advisors. Governed by Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
• Anthropic Claude — AI model used internally by AssetIQ to process financial data and generate reports and narratives. Data shared with Claude is subject to Anthropic's usage policies: anthropic.com/privacy
• Microsoft Power BI — data visualization platform used internally to build financial dashboards for clients. Privacy policy: privacy.microsoft.com
• Meta Platforms (Facebook / Instagram) — the Meta Pixel runs on our marketing pages to measure advertising conversions, such as page views, email sign-ups, and reaching our scheduling page. Privacy policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy

We do not sell your personal information to any third party. We do not share your information with any party other than those listed above, and only to the extent necessary to provide our services.

4. How We Store and Protect Your Information

We take reasonable precautions to protect the information you share with us. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.

• CSV data uploaded to the STR CFO Agent is processed entirely in your browser and is never transmitted to or stored on AssetIQ servers.
• Email addresses and contact information are stored in ActiveCampaign's secure cloud infrastructure.
• Client financial documents shared via Google Drive are stored in Google's secure infrastructure and are accessible only to Nelson Rosa, CPA.
• We do not maintain our own database of client financial records beyond what is stored in the third-party systems described in Section 3.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Unsubscribe from email communications — every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
• Request deletion of your information — you may request that we delete your contact information from ActiveCampaign by emailing hello@assetiqadvisors.com. We will process your request within a reasonable time.
• Access your information — you may request a summary of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at hello@assetiqadvisors.com.
• Withdraw from services — active clients may terminate their engagement per the terms of their service agreement.

6. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately at hello@assetiqadvisors.com.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
